The Willful Sin - Part VI

I fully intended for last month’s article to be the last in this series entitled, “Willful Sin,” thinking that as people read about the blatant misinterpretations of Scripture being used in the church today, it would cause them to slow down and think. Surely, they would start listening more closely to what is being taught in their churches and begin to, not only pay attention to what their preachers are saying, but to research what is behind this false direction most are traveling in. Maybe they would begin to ask themselves, “Have I placed too much trust in my pastor?” “Has my pastor placed blind faith in denominational leadership?” “Have I forgotten Jesus told us that the enemy would sow tares among the wheat?” (Mat. 13:25).

The Willful Sin Part V

Remember, a one-world religion is necessary for a one-world order. With this in mind, let’s look further into Rick Warren’s plans. His “PEACE Plan,” is designed to defeat the five “global giants” of the world (spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease, and illiteracy), and Warren has worked hard to convince the church that this endeavor is part of the Christian faith and duty. But, was this really the duty assigned to Believers by Christ? No! The Great Commission given to the church was to preach the Gospel to the world, and we were given authority over the hindering spirits of the world to do such!

The Willful Sin - Part IV

So, using his “PEACE Plan” to solve the five “global giants” of the world, which have spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease, and illiteracy, Warren communicates to the people that defeating “global giants” is worth any cost! In the name of “missions,” social action will take precedence above all else. Warren goes on to say that these problems are so big everybody has failed to solve them. The United States has failed and the United Nations has failed as well. Nobody has solved these five problems because the solution needs a “three-legged stool. ” For the stability of a nation, you must have strong healthy government, strong healthy business, and strong healthy churches.

We need to expand upon our mentioning, in last month’s article, of Rick Warren’s misuse of Scripture. In Chapter 36 of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren says this: “God’s timetable for history’s conclusion is connected to the completion of our commission. Today there is a growing interest in the second coming of Christ and the end of the world. When will it happen?
