What makes me the madest is that these yahoos in washington are not going to be subject to this thing or anything else that they pass and say we have to be subject to. What needs to be "CHANGED" is that the laws and bills passed by these people they should have to live by and under them as well, especially social security and this health care stuff, until that is "CHANGED" the every day American citizens will continue to get the "shaft" so to speak.

I have many questions of this ridiculous monstrosity and have not gotten past the first 50 pages! Major concerns: 1. Health Benefits Advisory Committee. Made up of the surgeon general, 9 members appointed by the president, 9 members appointed by the comptroller general of the US, and an even number, up to 8, federal employees appointed by the president. Looks like the president controls at least 2/3's of that com.! 2. The Health Choices Adm. Commissioner-someone who will have LOTS of power, but I cannot ascertain to whom they are accountable. This person will be "appointed by the president by and with the advice of the Senate". The Health Choices Adm. is considered "an independent agency in the executive branch of the government". ??? 3. For clueless people who think this will be FREE health care is the COST SHARING info, pages 26-30. Depending on which plan, Essential, Enhanced or Premium a percentage of the "actuarial value of the benefits provided" is assessed (prevention, maternity and well-baby are exempt)and yes, on page 59, line 21, access to your financial records!
I would like to say thank you to Frances and Friends for breaking this monsterous bill down to show us what we are facing. I think people need to remember, this bill is 1000 pages long as well, there is a whole lot more to it and it is just as bad as the little bit we've been shown. Keeping our heads in the sand is not going to make it go away and shooting the messenger will not solve anything either. There are many things in the "healthcare" bill that have absolutely nothing to do with healthcare either. This country was founded on Christian principles and Government is ordained by God. But when it becomes corrupted and violates the Word of God, we as God's people are to stand up and be a voice. We are the salt of the earth. We are to occupy until the Lord returns. Yes we are to pray for those in leadership, but to sit by and say or do nothing is just as much as a travesty as what is happening in our nation right now with this healthcare bill. You have printed the worse kind of scare tactics. No where in the Bill H.R. 3200 does it say anything about the governement going into our bank accounts. No truth in any of the summerazations you presented. What a shame for a Christian based website to go outside of what God wants them to print about His love.
You talk as though he is going to begin a governement like Hitlers. It is only going to do to the private insurance what Medicare has done ever since it began. Medicare is a governement Insurance and it has worked well for the elderly so far. Get your facts from someone who bills Medicare, HMO and PPO insurance claims.

Frankly, from someone who works with people who have medicare, I am not impressed. They cannot even get a prescription filled in a timely manner unless a dr says that it's "necessary" and some other alternative would work. So someone who doesn't even know the patient can question a physician's decision. And it comes by way of a form letter. There is something wrong about that.
I have private insurance and cannot complain. Yes, I pay for it out of pocket, and it's worth every penny.
Like I mentioned prior, "enable electronic funds transfers" is between healthcare companies and insurance providers, not your bank account sir. This new healtcare bill is being modeled from the ones that have been in use in Europe for decades. We American are simply spoiled and I can understand why it's so hard for you to even fathom adjusting. Frankly, from someone who works with people who have medicare as well, I cannot wait to stop dealing with with all this unnecessary paperwork because private insurance companies are so unreliable with their fees. This so-called Christian nation allows our poor adults and children to die because of lack of healthcare while rich folk with insurance are "selected" to live. There is something wrong when liberal,atheist U.S. citizens care more about the uninsured poor and young than their Christians neighbors. Unfortunately, I cannot understand why you're not complaining. And by the way, you should ask someone who's dear loved one has died due to lack of insurance if the current system is worth every penny.
People who want the government to tax everyone to pay for a few who don't have insurance are asking the government to steal. The constitution has an 'Equal Protection' clause which requires the government to provide any services to all citizens.
Taxes taken to pay for a few is a Robin Hood morality (socialism).
I am a mother of two daughters that are 20, and 22. My 20 year old daughter has several mental conditions, one is severe panic attacks, and was told that she needs to go to a psychiatrist to get on medication. She also has ADHD, (attention deficit disorder) and when she was in kindergarden was told by many of her teachers she had zero attention span so I had her put on medication; in fact several different ones due to the side effects she was having, (pulling her hair out of her head, etc..) I don't believe, (naturally being a Christian and loving the Lord and trying to live according to The Word), in psychiatry and through experience am afraid to put her on any more drugs, yet I'm told without them she will not be able to work or live a productive life.
I pray and pray for the Lord to help her, but she only seems to get worse. Her being only 20 doesn't help her considering that she is the one who has to institute getting the help from doctors. I'm told she needs to apply for Social Security, that's how bad she is.
If I heard it right over Frances and Friends yesterday when this HEALTH CARE BILL was first brought to our attention, I thought I heard mention, and correct me if I'm wrong, that if passed it would give the government the right to euthinize people in her age bracket, who are mentally challenged?
I prayed and cried all day yesterday, and rightly so, for our country, and for the strength to keep focused on the Lord in these trying times. Yet my question is, (and please excuse me for not being bible literate, I'm a work in progress,) but is having this kind of fear wrong for the children of God at this time? As we are suppost to keep our faith and eyes on the Lord knowing he will provide for his children. How are Believers to deal with the fear this Bill instills upon us?
I'm also totally disabled and many of the issues brought out yesterday hits home very seriously for me. I can't work, and on SSI to which I may not have one day soon; and I'm also on housing, section 8, which is another down fall for me, another tie to the gov't that I may find myself and daughter out in the streets one day, and unable to pay for all the medications that I need on a daily basis. Not to mention if this bill is passed I could be put down like an unwanted dog in a kennel, because I'm a drain on the economy.
My daughters have no other family, their father was very evil and deserted us when my eldest was 3 years old. Both of my daughters panic to think I may die soon, who would care for them? They are emotionally a wreck, even though I have given them both the Expositors Bible, they can't sit still, or focus long enough to read it. It terrifies me that they may very well be on their own; and shut me off when ever I try to talk to them about the Lord. They need to go to a Camp meeting, yet can not afford the cost to get them their or for the cost of the meeting. Yet that's anther issue for another prayer.
Is it wrong to fear? While I pray for God's help, is my fear wrong in the eyes of the Lord? Could you help me understand how I am to feel? I'm sure I speek for many in asking this question, who only have some knowledge of the Word.

Of course God does not want us to fear- he has not given us a spirit of fear. God is our source and we must look to Him with faith to meet our every need. HOWEVER, while he does not want us to FEAR what is coming, He does want us to act against evil. ALL THAT IT TAKES FOR EVIL TO PROSPER IF FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING. The reason Frances and Friends' discuss these matters is NOT to bring fear. However, it is our duty to warn and instruct!
Interestingly enough, Sarah Palin said she worries the health care bill will be paid for on the backs of the elderly and disabled, who could be pushed into euthanasia and assisted suicide via rationing of medical treatment.
"And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course," she said.
I am a Canadian and lived there most of my life. I have seen first hand the results of socialized medicine. Health care IS rationed and the elderly and disabled lose out. I have seen this with my own eyes in cases of family members of friends. The mind set is that the young and healthy deserve the care more than those who are at the end of their lives. Anyone who refutes this is ill informed. Read the bill- these things are laid our very clearly.

The strength and discernment that the Lord has given because I pray for it daily, (something we all need to do in these last days), especially as it regards the deception that is written between the lines of this health care reform bill. Has given me the strength to contact our government officials. However only two of them have responded, and their response was very positive. Mary Bono Mack is the Senator of my area, and you can go to her website to get her written responses to this bill; via.gov.
I am disabled, home alone most of the time and have no support system, or local church, with the exception of the Media Church. I always felt as if I had a strong mental constitution, and would be able to recognize the mental bombardments of Satan, however, it's not as simple as I thought especially when faced with so many medical issues that are life and death. While I pray and do get answers from the Lord, I still need to have people whom I can talk to.
If this message you wrote was intended for me, I am very grateful. I need to develop a support group, and if it can't be face to face, then via the internet will surfice just as well. I welcome your comments.
My friend, I pray for you and your daughter. Please do not believe the HealthCare Bill is going to murder anyone or do the things you heard. Go to Senate.gov put in the bill and read for yourself what it is going to do if passed and do not fear what the president can do to us. We are covered by the blood of Jesus and need not fear what someone will do to us. Claim that blood for you and your family and stop listening to anyone who will get you off that track. Jesus loves us, ENOUGH to die on that horrible tree. Claim it!!!
