JOHN 1:3 – “ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE THAT WAS MADE.”
The phrase, “All things were made by Him,” tells us that all things came into being through Him, and without Him not one single thing came into being.
This denies the theory of the eternity of matter which was held by some in ancient times, and continues to be claimed by some.

Someone handed me an article recently that contained an apology issued by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams to the late Charles Darwin. The Archbishop believes that the Church of England has misunderstood Darwin and encouraged others to do the same. The Church not only wants to atone for the sin of vilifying the father of evolution but they seek to disassociate themselves from Fundamental Christians who view evolution incompatible with the Biblical account of creation. According to the Archbishop it is time to rethink Darwin’s impact on religious thinking.
